IPv4 Transfer Process

Our team will fully manage the project and assist both the buyer and seller throughout the transfer process. We will share all relevant information to ensure the transfer is complete within 2 - 3 weeks.

  • After payment has been confirmed, the seller of IPv4 address block will initiate transfer request with RIPE
  • The buyer will then initiate transfer ticket with their internet registry (ARIN, RIPE, APNIC)
  • RIPE will do their due diligence and keep buyer and seller updated
  • The seller and buyer pay fees as requested by the respective internet registry
  • RIPE will approve the seller and notify them, and we will relay that information to the buyer
  • Whois will update with buyer’s information
  • Funds are released to the seller

What is the "Request Info" option?

Once you are ready to purchase an IPv4 address block you click on "Request Info" and submit your information. A representative will then send you a full blacklist report, a purchase agreement and payment information. We don't require any upfront commitment

Is this a purchase or lease?

This is a permanent transfer of the IPv4 address block into your internet registry account. It will be a one-time fee, no additional yearly and monthly costs.

How do I apply for pre-approval?

Specific to RIPE, Buyers are not required to receive approval, if you are requesting a transfer from RIPE to RIPE.

If the transfer is from ARIN or APNIC, then RIPE will ask for usage and try to determine a use case of 50% of the requested IPv4 subnet over the course of five (5) years. However, this is done during the transfer process, after the seller has submitted transfer request.

How do I know that the IPv4 addresses are clean?

We run each IPv4 Address Block through proprietary software that checks each IP address against 100 global blacklists. This report will be provided to the Buyer before payment is made to confirm and verify the information to be accurate. If the Buyer finds any IPs not to be clean and provides the proof, we can replace with a different IPv4 Address Block or Buyer can cancel the order.
