1. Create RIPE LIR Account (1-2 Weeks)

To acquire, manage or buy RIPE IP addresses, you first need to register for an RIPE LIR account. RIPE has a 3-step process to create an account and add users to it. If you don't have an LIR account, you can still create a contact record and have a sponsoring LIR.

Register an Online Account

Create an Organization Identified (Org-ID)

The Org-ID will be tied to your company. This will link directly to your ASN, RIPE IP addresses and POC records.. RIPE may require certificate of good standing in some cases to approve an Org-ID

2: Buyer Pre-Approval

RIPE does not require that you obtain pre-approval in order to acquire a RIPE IPv4 address block unless the IPv4 block is being transferred from ARIN or APNIC, which is referred as an inter-RIR transfer.

If the RIPE IPv4 transfer request is from ARIN or APNIC, the buyer will need to demonstrate 50% usage of the RIPE IPv4 addresses over a 5 year period. RIPE will ask for this information after ARIN or APNIC has approved the IPv4 transfer and sent the request to RIPE.

3: RIPE IP Address Review (1-5 Days)

Once you have an LIR account, its time review a RIPE IP address block, verify a blacklist report and review & sign the purchase agreement. We offer a detailed blacklist report that ensures the IP addresses are 100% from any IP blacklists before you purchase them
